  • Purchased BAe shareholding of the Joint Venture Company Lambson Speciality Chemicals Limited.
  • Constructed £1.2m Liquid Fertiliser Plant at Castleford, capacity 100kmts.
  • Constructed £2.0m Sulphuric Acid Regeneration Plant, capacity 20kmts, capable of dealing with flammable acids.
  • Divested Dart Distribution to Albion Chemicals Limited.
  • Invested in Far East production manufacturing unit.
  • Constructed a Glycerine Recovery Plant, capable of receiving crude Glycerine from Biodiesel production and recovering it to pharmaceutical quality.
  • Divested Lambson Building Products.

 

  • Introduced Natural Products Chemistry into Lambson portfolio and production units in the UK.
  • Effected a transfer of the Fine Chemicals and Speedcure product range to Far East manufacturing unit. Established a global supply network.
  • Divested Lambson Speciality Chemicals business to Koppers Inc.
