Lambson Registers Speedcure BDMB in Europe

Lambson Limited are pleased to announce that they have acquired full registration of Speedcure BDMB in Europe.

Speedcure BDMB is a highly reactive Type I photoinitiator and is a direct equivalent to Irgacure 369 (CAS Number 119313-12-1).

Speedcure BDMB will induce rapid photo-polymerisation when exposed to UV light and is particularly useful as it has a major absorption band between 300 and 400 nm.

This registration will allow Lambson Limited to sell up to 100 tonnes of the product per year in the European market.

Lambson moves into new Warehousing facility

In order to meet the increased demand for its expanding product range, Lambson are pleased to announce their move to a new purpose-built Warehouse and Distribution Facility.

The move represents a more than 25% increase in available storage and incorporates new racking, forklift trucks and access equipment which further enhance our capability to continue to provide our customers with the best possible levels of service.

 

New Appointments

Winnie Bentley

Lambson are pleased to announce the appointment of Winnie Bentley in the position of European Business Development Co-ordinator.

Winnie has over 13 years of experience in the international chemical industry, previously worked for two major chemical companies as Assistant Head of Logistics, Europe/UK Customer Services Team Leader, Demand Planner with worldwide responsibility for the personal care business and Key-Account Sales Co-ordinator.

Winnie is a translator, fluent in Dutch, German, French, English and Italian developed at a high level through experience gained in international working environments.

Matthew McDonnell

Lambson are pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew McDonnell to the position of Sales Manager - Europe & UK.

Matthew has over 10 years experience in the UK coatings industry and is tasked with the development of the UK and European markets. He previously worked for 3M, initially as Export Manager, covering Asia and Australia for the oil and gas business and, latterly, as Sales and Marketing Manager for the UK liquid resins business.

He is now based at Lambson's headquarters in the UK.

Steve Nettleton

Lambson are pleased to announce the appointment of Steve Nettleton to the position of International Sales Manager in the UK, Asia and Americas. Steve has over 20 years of international speciality chemical sales and marketing experience and is tasked with developing sales of the Lambson range of Photochemical products.

He previously worked for Clariant Switzerland as Business Manager for their Textile, Leather and Paper Division, creating dynamic growth in business markets around the world, particularly in Asia and the Americas. He is now based at Lambson headquarters in the UK.

 

New Opportunities for Lambson

Lambson Limited and Turkish company Enkim have formed a new company, Detoba to produce and market optical brighteners for the detergent industry.

The new manufacturing plant is based in Turkey whilst all sales and marketing is from the Lambson UK site at Wetherby using the Photine trademark.

Development of the product range has taken place and the new plant is nearing completion. Detoba will start the supply of product before the end of first quarter 2007. The location of the plant is ideal to enable it to cover its major markets.
