Lambson have built up extensive experience in the production of high-performance photo-initiators, particularly effective in the printing ink industry. We have a broad selection of solutions to offer, responding to the different needs of the many applications within the printing industry.
Our main photo-initiators are the product range: Speedcure consisting of Type I and Type II photo-initiators. They add many benefits to the quality of your printing, including:
• a non-yellowing effect
• good speed cure
• low migration and odour
• fast surface curing and high thermal stability .
Additionally Lambson have selected a set of cationic systems : S992 – S976 – S110 – S105 .
• They are an outstanding alternative to traditional curing methods and have a high environmentally friendly profile.
• Thanks to the low shrinkage and possible chemical binding with substrates, they provide a better adhesion to difficult materials such as metals, plastics, glass and ceramics.
Lambson have also developed a range of polymeric photo-initiators, the Speedcure 7000 series , based on aromatic ketones with extremely good cure properties.
• Due do the high molecular weight of our products (>1000) they have an excellent compatibility with UV acrylates .
• They are especially effective in inks for food packaging and graphic arts.

Lambson are now introducing a new range of versatile products for the printing ink industry: the VipyDone range. The benefits of these products include rapid wetting especially useful for lithographic printing, improved print receptivity in inkjet coatings. They also function as a colloidal stabiliser and pigment dispersant for inks and dyes.

Lambson Chemicals are introducing a new range of high-end non-toxic polymers: the VipyDone and VipyQuat range .
Our VipyDone and Vipyquat products are used in the formulation of a wide variety of end-uses, including cosmetics, hairsprays, gels and other hair care products.
They are excellent emulsion stabilisers in applications such as creams, lotions and hair colorants. They are also a very effective de-staining agent and gelling agent in toothpastes. The strong affinity for dyes makes them extremely suitable for eye-make up such as eyeliner or mascara.

Lambson have almost 50 years of expertise in the manufacture and worldwide supply of UV absorbers/stabilizers: the Speedblock range.
Our Speedblock products offer a remarkable improvement in the performance of sunscreen, skincare products and cosmetics. They protect against damage to both human skin and cosmetic products themselves, stabilising the formulations and protecting against changes in colour or product fragrance.
Products - PVP/PVPP
Lambson are introducing a new selection of pharmacopeia approved homo-polymers for the pharmaceutical industry: the VipyDone range.
Our VipyDone products are used in a wide variety of doseage forms:
• Highly effective lubricants and binders in many pharmaceutical tablets. Used in both wet and dry granulation techniques.
• Also a drug solubiliser for injectables and increase the solubility of drugs in liquid and semi-liquid form, such as syrups and soft gelatine capsules.
• Used as effective colour dispersant especially for vitamin tables and dietary supplements.
Our VipyDone PI , a Pyrrolidone Iodine complex:
• A broad spectrum biocidal and antiseptic film forming polymer which is non-sensitising and non-stinging.
• Due to its disinfectant properties, VipyDone PI can be used in a wide range of medicinal and surgical products including hand scrubs, liquid soaps, ointments and post operative bathing solutions.
Our VipyDone P-XL can be used as the active ingredient in anti-diarrhoea formulations. A highly effective disintergrant providing rapid table dissolution and improved drug bio availability.
Lambson is leading speciality product supplier with a global distribution network. The company has many years experience of servicing regulated markets and has now extended its product line to include a range of stabilizers for the brewing industry.
The company is committed to exceeding customer expectation by supplying solutions to stabilization problems with a cost effective range of quality products from stock and if requested customised combination treatments to meet specific brewery requirements. Manufacture to internationally recognised standards, the products also comply with the German Purity Law (Reinheistsgebot) and are approved for use in all countries which have regulations controlling the use of beer additives. In addition, the Lambson laboratory can provide technical service support, advice on stabilization treatments and guiding on dosage levels.
Marketed under the VIPYCLAR trademark, the range includes Vipyclar 10, a single sue PVPP - Silica Xerogel functional blend and Vipyclar R, a multi-use regeneration grade.
VIPYCLAR 10 - An optimally micronised particle size PVPP powder. It provides effective colloidal stabilization by complexing with more reactive polyphenols. The Vipyclar 10- Polyphenol Complex is completely insoluble and can be removed either by settling in the maturation tank or by filteration on the primary De/Kieslguhr filter. In addition to providing non-biological haze stability in many different types of beer, the usage of this product reduces the formation of oxidised polyphenols extending shelf life and improving quality.
VIPYCLAR 730- A functional combinations of PVPP and Silica Xerogel which blended in this ratio provides balanced colloidal stabilization to a broad range of beers in a single treatment. Using this product cill-proofing is achieved by the reduction of both the polyphenol and the protein components in the beer, without detrimentally impacting the foam head stability or flavour. The product can be added during transfer from the fermentation to the maturation tank or prior to the removal by filteration on the De/Kieselguhr filter.
In addition to this optimised grade, customised blends (VIPYCLAR CB'S) are available on request to meet specific stabilization requirements but may require longer lead time and a minimum order quantity.
VIPYCLAR R - A specifically developed grad for use in regeneration hardware systems. Coarser in particle to improve filtration characteristics, the product is also less prone to mechanical and chemical degration during the repeated recovery cylcles. As the engineering systems and procedures used vary widely, it is necessary to first establish suitability of the product in particular systems prior to scale.
